Arrested Development #4

Context: Tobias (love him!) is about to leave the room.

Original English: Will you excuse me, please?

Spanish Translation: ¿Me disculpan, por favor?

There are many ways to say “sorry” or “excuse me” in Spanish.

“Disculpar” is one of the best (if not THE best) for when you want to leave a room (or the table) or when you want to interrupt somebody.

Probably the most common way you’ll hear “excuse me” with “disculpar” is “disculpa” or “discúlpame” (imperative).
